Three weeks before the first qualification round in Milan, national coach Rintje Ritsma resumed training with his complete speed skating pursuit team in Inzell.

Ritsma emphasized the importance of maintaining formation and communication during the pursuit race. “Being in formation and maintaining the connection points should not weaken; that is what this discipline is about,” he explained.
