Three weeks before the first qualification round in Milan, national coach Rintje Ritsma resumed training with his complete speed skating pursuit team in Inzell.
AD, a Dutch news outlet, reports on the training session ahead of the upcoming competition.
Ritsma emphasized the importance of maintaining formation and communication during the pursuit race. “Being in formation and maintaining the connection points should not weaken; that is what this discipline is about,” he explained. This session marks a key moment in finalizing the ideal team arrangement, which now clearly exists in the coach’s mind as they prepare for the qualification phase.
The training in Inzell is part of the team’s efforts to sharpen their performance and coordination before the first qualifying round scheduled in Milan. Ritsma’s focus remains on ensuring the team functions cohesively to maximize their competitive potential.
