Following that, Sebas Diniz will compete against Damian Zurek, a Polish skater who has won the last two World Cup events and is considered a strong title contender. The competition will conclude with races involving Wataru Morishige and Bjørn Magnussen.
Earlier in the afternoon, starting at 4 p.m., the women’s qualification rounds for the team pursuit event will take place. Of the eight teams competing, the four fastest will advance to the semifinals scheduled for Tuesday. Joy Beune, Marijke Groenewoud, and Antoinette Rijpma – de Jong will participate in the first heat of these qualifiers.
