The Czech team expressed optimism about Sáblíková’s condition on Thursday, suggesting she will be able to compete. The 38-year-old speed skater, a three-time Olympic champion, missed the 3,000 meters event last Saturday due to illness. These Games are expected to be her final Olympic appearance, and if her recovery continues positively, she will have the opportunity to complete a farewell race.
