The International Skating Union has announced the schedule for the 2026 ISU Speed Skating World Championships, set to take place from March 5th to March 8th in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

The event will span four days and features multiple distance races for both men and women. On Thursday, March 5th, the first rounds of the 500m and 1000m races for women and men will be held starting at 19:00 CET. Saturday’s competitions begin earlier in the afternoon with the 500m races for women and men, followed by the longer distances of 3000m for women and 5000m for men. On the final day, Sunday, March 8th, participants will compete in the 1500m events for both genders, as well as the women’s 5000m and the men’s 10,000m events.
